Project Detail

Penn Station East Coast Subs - 5th Ave.

Columbus, Ohio

The project consisted of renovating an old building on 5th avenue in Columbus. The existing structure was extremely aged and required extensive structural and external work. O'Brien Robinson removed a portion of the exterior of the building to create more parking and gave the entire building a new stucco and cultured stone exterior.

The interior of the building was renewed and built out into a Penn Station Sub retail establishment. The existing hardwood floor received a waterproofing membrane prior to the new tile that was laid. The store is approximately 1,700-sq/ft and has seating for 40 along with a full service cook line with the latest kitchen equipment. The Owner met his scheduling and budgetary goals and the project was deemed "very successful."
