Project Detail

Acacia Country Club

Lyndhurst, Ohio

Acacia Country Club is a beautiful, old, noted facility that established the Donald Ross golf course in 1921 and later built the clubhouse in 1930. With the famous golf course architect, Donald Ross as the designer - it has always been known as one of the top course in the Cleveland vicinity.

The clubhouse, although quite a site in it's day has become very dated and run-down. The board of Acacia CC hired O'Brien Robinson along with CCI Chris Consultants of Irving, TX to design a master plan for Acacia CC to take the club from 2003 into the future. After analyzing the existing facility we deemed that building a new structure would be more feasible than remodeling.

After several presentations, it was approved by the board to move forward with a plan to design a new facility at the East End of the property. Once the Master Plan was finished, we presented the plan to the Membership of Acacia CC for approval. We were granted approval in June of 2003 and are proceeding with Design Drawings.
